In 2013 she started her nursing career as an inpatient oncology nurse at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where she was chemotherapy certified, and worked on the unit for approximately two years. She then worked in all of the Adult Intensive Care Units at Greenville Memorial while completing her masters degree.

Savannah now works primarily in the outpatient setting in Medical Oncology
