The
St. Luke’s Hospital Nursing staff is a group of dedicated individuals
who are committed to going the extra mile for their patients. Our guests

needs and concerns. As a group of highly regarded professionals among

on service excellence. We offer a wide range of service and care to the
surrounding community.
Types of Care
We provide nursing care for the following:
- Surgery—Inpatient
and outpatient for general, orthopedic (including hand), ophthalmology
and urology.
- Intensive Care
Unit—Step down
- Medical
Surgical Unit—provides care for general medical and post-surgical
patients, and occasionally pediatric patients.
- Psychiatric Unit—for
geriatric patients.
- Emergency Room—we
offer prompt service and timely intervention of life-saving techniques
when necessary. Our Emergency Nurses work hand-in hand with the Polk
County EMS and assist with the helipad when patients are flown in or
out of St. Luke’s Hospital.
