The St. Luke’s Hospital Laboratory is a full-service facility that offers services for both inpatient and outpatients including:

• Transfusion Services
• Hematology—testing for anemia, low platelet counts, indication of infection and abnormal cell studies.
• Coagulation—testing for levels of coumadin and heparin.
• Serology testing—Mono, HIV, strep, pregnancy, drug screens
  and C. Difficle.
• Chemistry—testing for the kidney, liver and heart, as well as diabetic testing, glycohemoglobin and micro albumin.
• Therapeutic Drug Levels—including Digoxin, Dilantin and Phenobarbital.
• PSA—testing for prostate cancer.
• Blood gases—for amounts of oxygen in the blood, PH levels and carbon dioxide.
• Microbiology—identification of bacteria and sensitivities.
• Quantitative HCG testing
• Thyroid Testing
• Urinalysis

Our lab is open to outpatients Monday-Friday 7:30 am—5:00 pm. Testing for glucose tolerance and drug testing may be done by appointment only. Physician orders are required for all lab tests.
