The
St. Luke’s Hospital Laboratory is a full-service facility that offers
services for both inpatient and outpatients including:
- Transfusion Services
- Hematology—testing
for anemia, low platelet counts, indication of infection and abnormal
cell studies.
- Coagulation—testing
for levels of coumadin and heparin.
- Serology testing—Mono,
HIV, strep, pregnancy, drug screens
and C. Difficle.
- Chemistry—testing
for the kidney, liver and heart, as well as diabetic testing, glycohemoglobin
and micro albumin.
- Therapeutic Drug
Levels—including digoxin, dilantin and Phenobarbital.
- PSA—testing
for prostate cancer.
- Blood gasses—for
amounts of oxygen in the blood, PH levels and carbon dioxide.
- Microbiology—identification
of bacteria and sensitivities.
- Quantitative
HCG testing
- Thyroid Testing
- Urinalysis
Our lab is open to
outpatients Monday-Friday 8:00 am—4:30 pm. Testing for glucose tolerance
and drug testing may be done by appointment only. Physician orders are
required for all lab tests.
