Radiologic Technologist - PRN
St. Luke’s Hospital has a new opportunity for an experienced Radiologic Technologist! Our hospital is one of very few critical access hospitals in the country that earned 5-Stars in patient satisfaction from CMS in 2020 and we need YOU to help us get to the next level! In this role, you will be part of a progressive team dedicated to advancing the goals of the hospital, meeting the needs of our rural community, and providing outstanding care to our patients. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Must produce high quality images, assist Radiologist in procedures, perform all duties as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Operates imaging equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by Radiologists. Performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologists.
• Demonstrates an awareness of radiation safety procedures for self and others. Reviews Radiation Protection Plan Policy annually with documentation of signature and date. Documents all fluoroscopy times in EMR and PACS.
• Utilizes all radiographic equipment to perform x-rays including but not limited to surgical and portable equipment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Must be registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Must be certified in BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Must be knowledgeable in imaging procedures including radiography, fluoroscopy, mobile radiography, and C-arm equipment. Must have an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and patient care skills, be team oriented and willing to perform other duties as assigned.
